SUPPORT THE RAUL S. VARGAS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The USC Mexican American Alumni Association has established a scholarship fund for Latino students in honor of Raul Vargas who led the organization for more than 34 years. For every $100 donated to the fund, donors receive one ticket to a special drawing tentatively set for November 11, 2006. Only 1,000 tickets are available, and each participant will have the opportunity to win an art canvas of Matt Leinart, 2004 Heisman Trophy winner, numbered 84/100 and signed by Leinart himself. DR. JUDITH F. BLUMENTHAL MBA '84, PhD '88 DEPARTS THE USCAA
After more than six years of exemplary service as executive director of the USC Alumni Association, Judith Blumenthal returned to the faculty of the USC Marshall School of Business on July 1. During her term, Blumenthal played an integral role in transforming and professionalizing USC alumni relations through implementation of a new strategic plan that she helped create. Among her many achievements, she expanded alumni networks nationally and internationally and enhanced alumni programs and communications. On behalf of all USC alumni, the USCAA salutes Dr. Blumenthal and wishes her success in her future endeavors.
