VISIONS AND VOICES: THE USC ARTS & HUMANITIES INITIATIVE
This university-wide series features theatrical productions, music and dance performances, conferences, lectures, film screenings and many other special events on and off campus, all with a reflective and/or interactive component. One of the first events is an exhibition entitled Rwanda: Portraits of Survival and Hope at the California African American Museum in Exposition Park. USC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION NAMES INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
USC Vice President of External Relations Carolyn Webb de Macias is serving as interim director of the USC Alumni Association. She will hold the post while a search is conducted for a new USCAA Executive Director and Associate Vice President, Alumni Relations, following previous director Judith Blumenthal¡¯s return to the faculty of the USC Marshall School of Business. As VP for external relations, Carolyn is responsible for USC's award-winning community outreach program as well as state and local government relations. As interim USCAA executive director, she will work closely with Alexander Cappello, president of the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors, and with senior management of alumni relations, Dana Randall, Mark McBride, Grace Shiba and Frank Watcher. USCAA staff will continue to operate all regular programs for 2006-07 and welcome the involvement of all alumni. Inquiries should be directed to Hillary Duncan at (213) 740-7873.
