USC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Scott M. Mory will be the new associate vice president for alumni relations. He received his BA from the George Washington University (GW) and his JD from the GW Law School. He later joined GW as assistant vice president for alumni relations and annual giving. He is active professionally as secretary of the board of directors of the Association of Private College and University Alumni Directors.

HELEN DEDEAUX DIES AT AGE 92 Helen Dedeaux, the wife of the late legendary USC baseball head coach Rod Dedeaux, died on March 10 at age 92. She and Rod Dedeaux had been married 66 years at the time of Rod's death on January 5, 2006. Helen served as 'Team Mom' during Rod's 45-year tenure as head coach (1942-86) and was president of USC Town and Gown from 1970-72. An accomplished artist, she was extensively involved in many USC and community support groups and is survived by four children including Michele Engemann, president-elect of the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors.
