A Time to Come Together in CelebrationThis week marks the culmination of years of hard work for thousands of graduating USC students. Our university community has been focusing all of its efforts and resources to ensure that the members of the Class of 2024, as well as their families and friends, will be able to celebrate commencement in the full spirit of this momentous occasion. In her recent message to our Trojan community, President Carol Folt stressed the importance of holding more than 100+ commencement events for graduates. Every measure is being taken to honor and recognize the Class of 2024, starting tomorrow and continuing through May 11, including the recently announced Trojan Family Graduate Celebration in the Coliseum on May 9. It is also an opportunity for all of us to come together in common cause, in support of our students and each other. Commencement is much more than a beloved Trojan tradition. It also marks a special transition for graduating students; once they receive their degrees, they become USC alumni. We hope you¡¯ll join us in congratulating them on their achievement, and welcome them with open arms to our powerful, close-knit alumni community—now more than 480,000 worldwide! Fight On! |
