KSIM was established in March 2006 with strong ambitions to educate world-class business professionals with the highest level of understanding of the IT convergence paradigm and its business opportunities.
The KAIST College of Business has been recognized during the last decade for its academic and entrepreneurial excellence in MIS/Telecom MBA programs with its 320 alumni who are active IT management leaders of Korea. With its academic strength and entrepreneurial spirits, KSIM is launching a brand-new IT/Media MBA program starting January 2007 with a goal of educating aforementioned professional leaders in the era of convergence.
The new IT/Media MBA curriculum is characterized by its focus on the recent IT and Media convergence trends, technologies and their management. The majority of the student body is expected to be delegated from the IT and media industries as well as key Korean governmental institutes. KSIM¡¯s IT/Media MBA program is distinctive in terms of efficiency and intensity for its 45 credit / 1-year program. It is global in nature, offering majority of classes in English and providing a 3-week, intensive customized program during summer in the United States.
¥±. Scholarship Opportunity for International Students
Scholarship is available for candidates with excellent academic and entrepreneurial credentials. Candidates are required to possess at least a bachelor¡¯s degree, and those with more than three years of working experience are preferred.
Benefits are
• Tuition Waiver : 36,000,000/ 1 year (equivalent of US$36,000)
• Living Expense: 500,000 for / 1 Month, 12 months (equivalent of US$500)
• Dormitory housing
• Lab Space
